Terms of Use
1. Who we are
This website at datastandard.pro (the Website) is operated by Varshney Projects LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India under LLPIN ACG-9878, with its registered office at A 101, Gundecha Garden, Lalbaug, Mumbai 400012, Maharashtra, India. GSTIN: 27AAYFV4317P1Z4.
In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Varshney Projects LLP. "You" means the person or organisation accessing the Website.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
These Terms govern the Website only.
They do not govern the Service itself. Access to the data — whether through our MCP server, our API, or any other delivery channel — is governed separately by the Data Licence Agreement, which you accept at the point of purchase. Where the two conflict in relation to the Service, the Data Licence Agreement prevails.
If you are here to understand the terms on which the data is supplied, the Data Licence Agreement is the document you need.
3. Who may use the Website
The Website is intended for business and professional use.
You confirm that:
a. you are at least 18 years old; b. you are accessing the Website for business or professional purposes; c. you are not located in, established in, or acting for an entity in the European Union or the United Kingdom, and are not subject to applicable sanctions or trade restrictions; d. where you act for an organisation, you have authority to bind it.
We do not offer the Service in the European Union or the United Kingdom, do not market it there, and do not direct the Website at persons there. We also do not offer it in any country or territory subject to sanctions or trade restrictions applicable to us.
If you access the Website from any other country outside India, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
4. What the Website is, and what it is not
The Website describes and provides access to a subscription data service (the Service). The Service is delivered through an MCP server, an API, or both — not through the Website. The Website is where you learn about it, buy it, and manage your account.
The Service supplies factual data extracted from public regulatory filings and disclosures, together with clearly labelled computed metrics derived from that data.
The Service does not provide, and nothing on this Website constitutes:
- investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security;
- research analysis within the meaning of the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014;
- a rating, ranking, score or opinion on the merit or suitability of any company, security or investment;
- accounting, legal, tax or professional advice of any kind.
We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India in any capacity, and the Service is not offered under, and does not rely on, any registration held by any other person or entity. Computed metrics supplied through the Service are arithmetic derivations of reported figures, are labelled as computed, and are not opinions.
Any decision you take using the data is yours alone. You are responsible for verifying data against the underlying source filings, which the Service identifies for that purpose.
5. Permitted use of the Website
You may view the Website and its content for the purpose of evaluating and using the Service.
You must not:
a. copy, scrape, crawl, index, mirror or extract any part of the Website by automated means; b. use the Website to build, train or improve any dataset, database, model or product; c. attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, any account, or any system connected to it; d. probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Website, or breach or circumvent any security measure; e. interfere with the Website's operation, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure; f. use the Website in a manner that breaches any applicable law; g. remove, obscure or alter any notice of ownership, source or attribution.
6. Ownership
The Website, its design, text, graphics, software, structure and arrangement are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by Indian law.
Nothing on the Website transfers any right, title or interest in it to you. Nothing on the Website grants you any right to the data supplied through the Service — those rights arise only under the Data Licence Agreement.
7. Accounts
Where the Website offers an account, you are responsible for:
a. the accuracy of the information you provide; b. the security of your credentials and access tokens; c. all activity carried out through your account, whether or not authorised by you.
Notify us at support@datastandard.pro as soon as you become aware of any unauthorised use. You remain responsible for activity on your account until you have notified us and we have had a reasonable opportunity to act.
8. Third-party sites and sources
The Website may link to third-party websites, including the regulatory and exchange sources from which data originates. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the Website available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We may modify, suspend or withdraw the Website, or any part of it, at any time and without notice.
Service levels for the paid Service are dealt with in the Data Licence Agreement, not here.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 11:
a. the Website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available"; b. we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations not expressly set out in these Terms, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement; c. we do not warrant that the Website or any content on it is accurate, complete, current or free of errors or malicious code.
11. Limitation of liability
11.1 What is never excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
a. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; b. wilful misconduct; c. death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or d. any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Indian law.
11.2 Excluded losses. Subject to clause 11.1, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data, anticipated saving, or investment loss, however arising and whether or not foreseeable.
11.3 Cap on liability for the Website. Subject to clause 11.1, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website (as distinct from the Service) shall not exceed ₹10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand).
11.4 Liability for the Service. Our liability in respect of the paid Service is governed exclusively by the Data Licence Agreement, and not by this clause.
11.5 Reasonableness. You acknowledge that the Website is made available without charge, that the allocation of risk in this clause is reflected in that, and that these limits are reasonable.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against all claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
a. your use of the Website in breach of these Terms; b. your breach of any applicable law; or c. any content or information you submit through the Website.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or that suspension is necessary to protect the Website, our users, or our rights.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The amended version takes effect when published on the Website with an updated effective date and version number.
For changes that do not materially affect your rights, your continued use of the Website after publication constitutes acceptance. A change that materially affects your rights takes effect only on your positive acceptance — we will ask you to accept it before you next use the Service.
We retain every prior version. To obtain the version in force on a given date, write to support@datastandard.pro and we will supply it.
15. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023:
Grievance Officer: Gunjan Chheda Email: support@datastandard.pro Address: A 101, Gundecha Garden, Lalbaug, Mumbai 400012, Maharashtra, India
We acknowledge receipt of a grievance within 48 hours, issuing a ticket number, and respond within the period required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, and in any event no later than 30 days from receipt.
16. General
16.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and (where applicable) the Data Licence Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Website.
16.2 Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if that is not possible, severed. The remaining provisions continue in full force.
16.3 No waiver. A failure or delay in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of it.
16.4 No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between you and us.
16.5 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours on notice to you.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, including any non-contractual dispute, are governed by the laws of India.
The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction. You and we irrevocably submit to that jurisdiction and waive any objection on grounds of venue or inconvenient forum.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you may have under consumer protection law, including any right to bring proceedings in a forum where you ordinarily reside or work.
